I can't download a video, why?
Videos posted on a private account, page or group aren't publicly accessible, so they can't be downloaded. Only public videos work.
Am I allowed to download a Facebook video?
For private use, yes. But the video belongs to its author: don't republish it or use it commercially without permission. Once you have the MP4, open it in Montaj to add subtitles, cut silences and edit it entirely on your device.
