Can I control how aggressive the cuts are?

Yes. Open the advanced settings to change the silence threshold (in dB) and the minimum gap length (in seconds). A higher threshold trims quiet pauses too; a longer minimum keeps your natural rhythm.

What if my video has no audio track?

There’s nothing to detect, so the tool tells you the video has no audio. Silence removal only works on videos that contain a soundtrack.
