Download a LinkedIn video in MP4

Paste the post link, get the MP4 in HD. Ideal for repackaging a professional video into Reels or Shorts, and adding the subtitles that make all the difference on a feed watched with the sound off.

How to download a LinkedIn video

  1. 1

    Copy the post link

Download the file in HD to your device, ready to be re-edited, subtitled or republished elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work for all LinkedIn videos?
Yes for native videos posted directly in a post (the ones that play in the feed). Copy the post link via the … menu → "Copy link to post". Videos hosted elsewhere (YouTube, Vimeo) embedded in a post aren't covered: use their original platform instead.
Am I allowed to download a LinkedIn video?
For your own videos, no problem. For someone else's, the video stays protected by copyright: keep the download for private use, or ask the author's permission before republishing or reusing it professionally.
How do I reuse the video as Reels or Shorts?
Once the MP4 is on your device, open it in Montaj: crop to vertical format, cut the dead air and add automatic subtitles. Your LinkedIn video becomes content ready for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube Shorts.
Why add subtitles after downloading?
On LinkedIn like on other feeds, most videos are watched with the sound off. Clean subtitles hold attention and get your message across even on mute. Montaj generates them automatically on your device, locally, no cloud involved.
